Stonebridge are pleased to announce and welcome in our new captains for 2024 - Anthony Lander who will be taking on the role of the Men's Captain and Marlene Simmons who will become the new Ladies Captain.

The annual Captain’s Drive In competition took place over the weekend and it proved to be a hugely successful day with 130 players turning out in total. Results and prize winners were as follows:-

·        Winners: Ashley Dutton, Luke Watson and Paul Green

·        Joint 2^nd: Scott Burns, Knile Taylor and Matt Evans; and Ben Holmes, Mat Rand and Stephen Foxwell

·        3rd place: Paul Moore, Darren Oliver, Carl Faulkner and John Everiss

·        Longest Drive – Aaron Ford

·        NTP 8^th Somers: Lee Lawrence

·        NTP 6^th Hampton: Bob Dhammi

Congratulations to all our prize winners

As we know the most important part of this day is raising money for charity and specifically this year the British Heart Foundation. Courtesy of your efforts, over £2700.00 was raised in total throughout the day.

A large portion of this money was raised from two very generous bids for the captain’s charity spaces! Congratulations to Scott Burns and Jake Davison who were successful in the blind auction with 2 bids totalling £1100! The spaces are now all yours.

Both Ant and Marlene would like to extend a big thank you to you all for such a great start to the year.
