We are continuing our drive for sustainability here at Stonebridge and you may have noticed some visible additions to the exterior of the clubhouse building.

Our latest measure has seen the installation of a 40kw solar array.

These solar panel systems can be used to power commercial buildings, factories, warehouses, and other industrial premisesand is estimated to typically generate around 150–226 kWh of electricity perday, or 81,432 kWh per year.

It is anticipated with our new installation that all energy production will be used on site meaning we will reduce our carbon footprint and also our bills.

This installation is the latest measure in our ongoing commitment and drive for sustainability here at Stonebridge. In fact England Golf recognises sustainability as a crucial priority and acknowledges the role that golf has to play in the global sustainability effort for the good of the game and theplanet.

And here at Stonebridge we are proud to more than contribute with a dedicated sustainability programme and range of initiatives, all geared for the benefit of our global and local environment.
